Bye Bye Beaver. It was a cute show when he was a little tyke but when he grew into Surly Teenaged Ugly Beaver that's when I stopped watching the re-runs. I did grow up with LITB and I used to call it "Beave It To Cleaver." (When I was little! )

Leave It to Beaver is the most boring "classic" sitcom.

I love KOQ. I watch it mainly for Jerry Stiller...he cracks me up with his irrational behavior. :eek3:

i have never once seen an eppy of the bob newhart show (either one of the ones he did) only clips from reunion type shows, so i really don't know anything about it. the same goes for mary tyler moore, haven't really seen it only heard about it, which is why i didn't want to vote for either or them since i have never seen them to formulate an opinion. but next week....who knows, because there are still 2 shows left i refuse to vote for so i may have to say byebye to mary even though i have never seen her before

that is the main reason i like the show also, jerry stiller is a comedic genius and he always has me laughing on KOQ. nicole sullivan ( holly who walked arthur) was also very very funny in my opinion on the show, i wish they had given her more screen time on the show. but i think recently the show has really gone downhill, since leahremini got pregnant and they tried to cover it up....i think it would still be a good show if they had allow carrie to get pregnant at the same time leah was pregnant in real life. watching carrie and doug trying to raise a baby i think would be funny.

That's the sad thing about these types of polls. We had that Britcom list going for a while and I just stopped voting because I was voting off things that were probably excellent just because I'd never seen them. It didn't seem fair to participate in that manner. With sitcoms, I've pretty much seen them all, and that includes some 50's and 60's shows you kids have never heard of like "The Bob Cummings Show" and "The Ann Sothern Show". So I feel no remorse in voting off a show like Gilligan or Beaver...mainly because I don't care much for them and have seen an ocean of re-runs of them in my childhood.

Greg, I can picture a Brady Bunch desktop now, with 9 board members in place of the cast members. You can be in the middle in Alice's spot :emotlol:

The same actor played another role with the name Barney. It was Sam the Butcher. I haven't seen this show since the 80's.

Yep..Sam was Alice's butcher boyfriend. :D Then "Sam" went on to play Barney Heffner, Archie Bunker's neighbor, and hubby to Blanche Heffner.
