This wacky 70's comedy was mentioned in the same breath as AYBS in many publications and articles. I added it to my weekly NetFlix list and will check it out shortly.

I didn't see Croft or Lloyd's name on the show, but again, there seems to be references to AYBS when this show is described. Michael Crawford was apparently a comical genius in this show.

Does anyone know more about it?

It's hard to describe but it was certainly a classic in its time. I bought the DVD series not long ago and re-lived it.

The key man is Frank Spencer, an intensely irrittaing and accident-prone man but who is very well-meaning. He continually gets and gives the wrong impression and has accidents.

The series is big on stunts, many of which Crawford performed himself. There are also scenes where Crawford is applying for jobs and things, and driving the poor employer to distraction.

It is unique and worth seeing. It was a cult classic in the 70s and at the time everyone did impressions of Spencer's wimpish voice saying "mmmmm Betty!"

Betty being his poor long-suffering wife...

100% worth seeing. Everything that you see he does himself (not wanting to give away any spoilers if you haven't seen it yet). It did have a short lived run but it for what there is of this series it was hilarious.
