The other day I replied to Caption #25, I hit Submit and got a big white screen saying:

ERROR 400
Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.

Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

Now I'm completly locked out unless I use MSIE (I utterly dispise MSIE).

Anyone have any idea what the problem could be with Mozilla?

Thanks
Mr. Harmon

I emailed you the solution to this in case you can't read this.

Hmm...I haven't used Mozilla in a long time so I don't know what would cause that.

If Sonosun's solution doesn't work, let me know and I'll see if I can find someone who can help you out. Also, Sonosun--could you send me a copy of the solution so I can add it to Announcements as a reference?

I merely advise those who require it to clear their cache, delete internet files and cookies,or to adjust privacy settings by typing in the URL of the board in the allow sites box. :hat:

The last bit seems to be the most important...
To do this under Firefox goto

Tools/Options/Privacy/Cookies

Toggle on the "Allow Sites to set Cookies" (see the little check mark)
Press the Exceptions Button and then enter www.minki.net and click ALLOW. Close and Ok and you're done.

While you are there on the Cookies window, look under Allow Sites to
set cookies and you will see "for originating site only". If you toggle that
on, you may not be able to see some images on the website because
the URL for the images is not always www.minki.net.

I know it seems backwards to put exceptions under Allow sites to set
cookies. If you allow sites to set cookies then Exceptions (URL/sites) would not be allowed to
set cookies, but its just the opposite. The exceptions are the list of sites you wish to allow to set cookies...

Ok that's probably enough to be confusing....cause many sites set cookies anyway....

And Mr. Harmon you are right....MSIE is just wrong!

Woo HOO!!

Thanks you gang! It was the cookie it didn't like. Perhaps it mistook it for a cheese roll :D

Sorry about putting this in the wrong forum, but I had never been to the Suggestion Box and had no idea that's what it was for. I looked in the Chat area but it said "Coming Soon" and there wern't any posts there so I just posted here. :)

Thanks again for the help gang :) Fortunantly it was only bunged up with a bog roll and not plaster of paris. :D

Mr. Harmon.
